DTF has rapidly gained popularity in digital imaging, but many have requested a way of combining DTF-type output and sublimation. InkJetBiz (IJB) has the answer with the introduction of its new Hybrid Kit (All-in-One DTF and Dye Sublimation).
The IJB Hybrid Lite kit utilizes a hybrid ink to print on film for a process similar to DTF, and also prints on dye sub paper for traditional dye sublimation output, and the results are impressively stunning! This new system is brilliant, as users get two capabilities in one: IJB Hybrid images to virtually all fabrics along with traditional sublimation, including all hard goods. The best part of this system is that only one ink is required for both processes, and it is simple to change dye sublimation paper to film.
The new IJB Hybrid Lite kit includes all the necessary kit components needed to facilitate the process. However, you will need a method of applying and curing the powder for the Hybrid DTF process, along with heat presses for sublimation.

IJB Hybrid Inks: The system includes specially formulated hybrid inks that are designed to work seamlessly with the Mutoh RJ-900X printer for both the DTF and traditional dye sub applications.
RIP Software: GO ColorMate RIP is available for both PC and Mac platforms and is used to drive the Hybrid system. ColorMate utilizes a simple interface with underlying professional features such as an advanced color engine, enhanced workflow and printing process with software tools not found in other software. In addition to ColorMate, GO’s cloud-based GO Pro Create software features enhanced design capabilities that work wonderfully well with the IJB Hybrid system.
IJB Film: IJB’s Film was developed specifically for use with the IJB Hybrid system. This combination of ink and film provides incredibly detailed images down to 5% coverage. Additionally, no ink is wasted with 100% released from the film to the substrate with little dot gain for sharp and dense images.
IJB Powder: IJB powder was developed specifically for use with the Hybrid system. The powder has a unique capability of enhancing the adhesion of the Hybrid ink to whatever fabric is being imaged.
Transfer Paper: Dye sublimation transfer paper is an important element of the system. It is used to transfer the printed image from the paper onto the fabric. The transfer paper holds the sublimation ink during the printing process and releases it during the heat transfer stage.
Training, Support and Warranty: As with all of the products being offered by IJB, training, support and warranty are included with each DTF system.
